Beer Again At Park
One of the most popular innovations at Lancaster Park in recent years at Plunket Shield matches, the bar underneath the No. 1 stand, will be continued this year, according to the chairman of the Victory Park Board (Mr C. F. Collins).
Last year a booth licence was granted for the main cricket matches and it proved an immediate success. Beer and spirits are served during the hours of play and last year the catering firm which was granted the licence also provided sandwiches and pies in the bar.
