Bud Abbott Sick

Bud Abbott, partner with the late Lou Costello in one of the top screen comedy teams of more than a decade ago, is being treated for a stroke. A hospital spokesman said that Abbott, who is aged 66, was admitted on December 16 and is “responding satisfactorily” to treatment
