Well Into Strait
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Dec. 28. Leading yachts in the Syd-ney-Hobart race were well Into Bass strait this afternoon and had about 300 miles to go to the finishing line. This afternoon they were bowling along under spinnakers in northerly winds which were expected to swing to the north-west and reach gale force by tonight.
