India Pays For Sterilisation
(N.ZPA.-Reuter—Copyright) NEW DELHI, Dec. 28. The Indian Government, trying to cut India's soaring birth rate, will give 100 rupees and sick leave pay to anyone who undergoes sterilisation, the Associated Press reported. As an added inducement, it will pay five rupees to anyone who accompanies a prospective sterilisation patient to a hospital.
