IBy
ALAN TREMAIN]
What sort of drink for teen-age parties? A problem for parents at this time of the year is to provide a party drink that does justice both to the festive climate and to their younger guests. A punch bowl with plenty
of character but no “built-in" j risks is the answer. Here is a recipe for a spicy fruit punch that seems sophisticated and is certainly refreshing. Ingredients: i cup honey or sugar i cup water. 12 cloves. 1 level teaspoon cinnamon 2 cups orange juice 11 cups soda water 1 tray of ice cubes.
Method: Boil together honey, water, cloves and cinnamon for five minutes. Strain and cool. Add orange juice and soda water. Pour over ice. Makes ten 4oz servings of 44 to five cups.
