Dismissal Of Charge

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 23. A charge of manslaughter against William Leslie Byrne, aged 21, a television rigger, was dismissed by Mr L. G. H. Sinclair, S.M., today. Byrne had been charged with the manslaughter of Wiremu Ngawhika, who died after an incident outside the Glen Innes Hotel on November 28. Detective Senior-Sergeant R. C. Anderson appeared for the police, and Mr D. B. Pain for Byrne.
