PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the Dogs Registration Act, 1955, and the Hydatids Act, 1959, the Halswell County Council has by resolution fixed the following fees for the year commencing January 1, 1965, to December 31. 1965: DOG REGISTRATION FEES For every dog owned by a farmer or drover and kept solely for the purpose of herding or driving sheep or cattle, a fee of 3s 6d per dog. For all other dogs a fee of £1 per dog. The above fees are due and payable within 14 days of January 1, 1965, for all dogs over the age of six months. HYDATID CONTROL FEES In addition to the above fees there is payable a fee of £1 in respect of every dog, as fixed by the Banks Peninsula Hydatid Control Committee, except as provided hereunder:— A maximum total fee of £5 for any one owner of 5 or not more than 10 dogs.
