MELBOURNE, Dec. 23. C. C. McDonald, the former Australian opening batsman, will receive a record £1520 from the Victorian Cricket Association provident fund. The previous highest payment made by the fund was £1450 to the test and State captain, lan Johnson. The former Victorian spin bowler, L. Kline, will receive £7OO, and the former Victorian batsman, J. Shaw, £450.
