Postponements Granted
The calling-up of an assistant lecturer in the English department at the University of Canterbury, P. A. Simpson, was postponed for 12 months by the Military Training Postponement Committee on Tuesday. Simpson said his training had been postponed several times, but always for a different reason. Other decisions were:— Postponed until May camp: Kevin Merle McCormick, Rex Arnold Albert Sutherland, Alexander William Taylor, Gavin Trevor Harrow, Bernard Robert Dodson. Peter John Pope.
