Ownership Of Sir Dane

Mr D. Cameron, who bought Sir Dane for 21.000gns last Friday, has given a share in the horse to his daughter. Mrs J Gavin, of Auckland.
Sir Dane was auctioned to dissolve a partnership between the estate of Mr Cameron's wife. Mr Cameron and Mr L. Rees of Auckland. Mr Cameron said today Sir Dane would race m the nomination of himself, his daughter and the estate of the late Mrs Cameron.
From 35 starts Sir Dane has won 11 races and been placed 19 times. He has won £28,994 10s in stakes.
Eisenhower Cup.—Australia will apply to stage the Eisenhower Cup amateur teams golf tournament in Melbourne in 1968. The tournament is scheduled to be played in the Asia-Pacific area in that year. India has already applied for permission to hold it.—(P.A.)
