A Senior Lecturer is required to organise courses, lecture and conduct research in the field of management information to an advanced level. Candidates should have either:— (a) a degree in accountancy, commerce or economics or a professional accountancy qualification, together with a qualification in, or considerable experience of. cybernetics, information theory or computer programming: or (b) a degree in engineering together with a qualification in, or considerable experience of, computer design and control systems, or cost accounting. SALARY SCALE Senior Lecturer: M dol. 1220 x 40—1500/- per month. (IM dol equals 2s 4d Sterling approximately at present.) The point of entry in the above salary scale will depend on qualifications and experience. In addition, there is a variable allowance which at present is 35 per cent of basic salary with a Maximum of M dol. 150/per month for a single officer, M dol. 280/- per month for a married officer, and M dol. 400/per month for an officer with dependent child/children. Overseas appointees who are normally domiciled outside the Malaysia region are also paid an expatriation allowance of M dol. 200/- per month.
