Higher Costs For Building

WELLINGTON, Dec. 22
Building costs had started to rise again after a period of stability and were now some 4 per cent higher than at this time last year, Mr R. H. Rolle, spokesman for the Institute of Valuers, said this morning. Further rises could be expected, he said. Land development costs were also rising. Dearer buildings and dearer land could be anticipated in most areas.
