They Stamped His Stamp
Two Government employees have been amazed by the Christmas spirit exhibited by the Post Office. They share the same post office box at the chief post office, and at this time of year always exchange greeting cards. They just leave a card- for each other in the box.
This year one of the men drew a little stamp on the corner of the envelope in | which he intended to enclose ■his friend’s card. He drew a 1 candle and wreathed it with 1 holly leaves. By mistake, he i mixed it with other mail and i popped it in the public post- > ing slot. | But, sure enough, it turned :up in the post office box, duly post-marked over the home-made stamp, and with not a word about doubledeficiency.
