IMPROVING TEAM.—Although it was again beaten by the South Brighton team in the women’s six-man rescue and resuscitation event during the Prince of Wales inter-club carnival on Sunday, the Waimairi team is showing some improvement in its drill under the guidance of its instructor (Mr P. Davies). In the opening championship carnival it lost more than 12 points but on Sunday reduced its deductions to 9.8. It is shown above shortly after leaving the water with its patient, S. Johnson.
