Ellerslie (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 21. There will be eight races on the first day of the Auckland Racing Club's summer meeting at Ellerslie on Saturday. The T.A.B. double is on the Queen Elizabeth and Newmarket Handicaps. Twenty-six horses are left in the Auckland Cup, to be run on the third day of the meeting, January 1, after a second payment was taken today. A third and final payment is due on December 29.
