12 N.Z. Yachts Competing

Twelve New Zealand yachts will contest the inter-Domin-Jon Flying Dutchman yachting championship in Port Phillip Bay. Melbourne, from December 29 to January 9. The Tokyo Olympic Games gold medallist, H. D. Pedersen. is one of 62 skippers contesting the championship. Pedersen will have E. Wells, his Olympic Games forward hand with him in the title. They will sail the Pandora. The inter-Dominion champion Taurus (I. Pryde-J. Hansen). from New Zealand, will defend its title.
