MELBOURNE Industrials were firmer on the Melbourne Stock Exchange yesterday with rises in excess of falls by a wide margin. Colonial Sugar was up Is to 69s 9d. Base metals and oils were firmer with practically the whole list gaining ground. However, Mount Isa dropped ninepence to 39s 9d. C.B.A. featured with a gain on buyers' quote of 2s 6d to 44s 6d after the weekend announcement of a big Japanese iron ore contract.
