Baby Killed By Train

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 21. A baby boy died in Middlemore Hospital this evening from injuries received when he was struck by a train near his home at Manurewa about 5 p.m. He was: Stephen Motu, aged 14 months, son of Mr and Mrs S. Motu, of 100 Gloucester street, Manurewa. The police said he crawled down a bank behind his home on to the railway line. He was found by the crew of a following train half an hour later.
