Race Books 2s
An increase in the cost of race books from Is to 2s met with a mixed reception at the Rangiora Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday. Officials of the club said the increase in printing costs In recent years had resulted in a loss being shown on the sale of race books. The Rangiora club is the first in Canterbury to charge 2s for race books, although Southland clubs have charged this price for some time. Some North Island clubs also charge 2s.
