(New Zealand Press Association)
AUCKLAND, December 20.
In about three days the Government analyst (Mr O. H. Keys) is expected to hand the police a preliminary report on samples taken from the body of a man exhumed from a Whangarei cemetery on Friday.
The samples were taken from the body of Alexander George Doull. who died on January 30, 1952, at the age of 41.
The body of Mr Doull was exhumed from, the Maunu Lawn Cemetery on Friday and was later returned to the grave. Two Auckland detectives have remained in Whangarei to continue inquiries into Mr Doull’s death. Detective-Inspector E. G.
Perry and Detective A. Hill, should return from Whangarei about Wednesday. The exhumation was after inquiries by detectives into the death last August of Mrs Janet Bell Greenhorn, aged 54, widow of Mr J. H. Greenhorn. who lived with her sister, Mrs M. M. Doull, in Beach road, Takanini. It is also believed the police are seeking information from Melbourne in another aspect of the inquiry.
