MWFS HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL FOREST AND RURAL FIRES ACT 1955 CLOSED FIRE SEASON PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act, 1955, the Heathcote County Council has declared a CLOSED FIRE SEASON over the whole of the County as from Tuesday, December 22. 1964, till further notice and during this period the lighting of all fires in the open is prohibited unless a prior permit is obtained. Permits are ONLY obtainable from the County’s Chief Fire Officer, Mr E. F. Johnson. This also includes fires in any kind of incinerator or container. W. H. CHRISTCHURCH-LYTTELTON ROAD TUNNEL AUTHORITY NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN THE MATTER of the Public Works Act, 1928 —and— IN THE MATTER of the Christchurch-Lyttelton Road Tunnel Act, 1956. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Christchurch-Lyttelton Road Tunnel Authority, a body corporate constituted by the Christchurch-Lyttelton Road Tunnel Act, 1956, is executing a public work, namely the construction of a tunnel through the Port Hills between Lyttelton and Heathcote and for the purpose of such public work so much of the subsoil of the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto as is described in the Second Schedule hereto is required to be taken AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that plans showing the lands required to be taken are deposited at the office of F. G. K.
