N.Z. Women In London
The High Commissioner. Sir Thomas Macdonald, and Lady Macdonald, were guests of honour at the Christmas party held by the New Zealand Women’s Society in the reception hall at New Zealand House recently, says [the London correspondent of “The Press”. About 150 members and guests attended and were received by the president Mrs Gilbert Matthews. After the showing of three films, including the award-winning feature, “Amazing New Zealand,” afternoon tea was provided in the gallery. Lady Macdonald cut the Christmas cake.
