NEW GRANDSTAND AT AWAPUNI.—The new members’ grandstand at Awapuni, which was officially opened by the Prime Minister, Mr Holyoake, on the first day of the Manawatu Racing Club’s cup meeting on Saturday. The stand cost £160,000 and has seating accommodation for 3000.
