Coarse Wool Firm In Wellington

(New Zealand Press Association)' WELLINGTON, November 27. Coarser wool types were very firm, compared with Invercargill, at the second main Wellington sale but finer wools were in buyers’ favour with competition well-spread.

Buyers were offered 25,690 bales, according to the official I report issued by the Wellington Woolbrokers’ Association, the New Zealand Woolbuyers’ Association and the New Zealand Wool Commission. The bulk of the offering comprised hogget and ewe wool with the usual oddments. The wool Showed the effect of the bad growing season, being off colour and inclined to be tender.
