CONVERSION OF HOTEL
White Hart Contract
A contract has been let to Wilkins and Davies Construction, Ltd., for conversion of the old White Hart Hotel, in High street, to a shopping arcade.
The contract calls for the building of 10 shops on the ground floor with a coffee lounge-restaurant, which will have a mazzanine floor, and for four shops in the basement.
It is expected that the ground floor shops will be ready by Easter. All have tenants, and there have been inquiries for the shops in the basement.
