Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Institution of Engineers were as follows: Chairman, Mr I. L. Holmes; vice-chair-man. Mr J. L. Woodward; honorary secretary, Mr T. A. H. Dodd; honorary treasurer, Mr P. J. A. Page; assistant honorary secretary, Mr F. R. Smith; convenor of meetings sub-committee, Mr W. S. Newstead; committee, Messrs P. G. Secular, G. Oglivie, M. Douglass and P. Yeoman.
