BEDS FOR TOURISTS
Greymouth Has 727 i (From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Nov. 27 A survey made with the opening of the Haast Pass road next year in view showed 353 beds were available in licensed hotels in Greymouth and a further 86 in adjacent country hotels. Motels could accommodate 140 and bed and breakfast houses and the motor camp brought the total to 727. The number of licensed hotels in West Coast towns is renowned and it has been said there are too many.
