The Congo
Sir,—“P.J.A.’s” irrational outburst against the people who rescued their fellow human beings (white, black, and brown) in the Congo from the unspeakable horrors of unbridled savagery is typical of the warped thinking certain individuals are capable of. As for the opening sentence of your correspondent’s letter, to invoke God’s name is not only in extremely bad taste but smacks of hypocrisy and worse: blasphemy.—Yours, etc. WELL DONE. BELGIUM.
