FOUR BEING CHARGED
Man Found In Crate
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ROME, November 23.
The Rome flying squad will lay charges of abduction, causing bodily injuries and administering drugs against four members of the staff of the United Arab Republic’s Embassy here, said Dr. Nicola Scire, the squad’s chief.
This was decided after a meeting he had with the assistant attorney-general and two magistrates.
He said the Italian judicial authorities would conduct the trial according to Italian penal law and international conventions. It will start as soon as police reports on the case are ready. A man. Mordecai Luk, was freed from a trunk at Rome’s airport last Tuesday. The trunk, addressed to the Foreign Ministry of the U.A.R. in Cairo, was about to be loaded aboard a United Arab Airlines plane.
