Bequests To Five Charities
Five charities will share equally the residue of the estate of Mary Ann Alexandra Florence Early, a widow, of Cust, who died in Christchurch on September 17. The charities which will share the estate after provision of one private bequest of £lOO are the Canterbury and Westland branch of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society, the Cust branch of the New Zealand Red Cross Society, the Cust branch of Canterbury and West Coast centre of the Venerable Order of St. John, the Cust branch of the Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Women and Children, and the society’s Karitane Baby Hospital, Christchurch. The Supreme Court recently granted probate of the will, the estate being sworn at under £3950.
