Raising The Question
(Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. The Under-Secretary for Finance (Mr Muldoon) suggested during the adjournment debate in Parliament tonight that the Opposition might have raised “the question of retirement of a head of a certain department.” When the Opposition had introduced the subject of freight rates for wool across the Pacific, Mr Muldoon said: “Why don’t they raise that tonight? Because that head of that department said: ‘Don’t raise it’!”
