Steadier Market On N.Z. Stock Exchanges
Steadying by New Zealand issues was a feature of yesterday’s trading, but with overseas stocks showing twice as many rises as falls the market kept ahead. Key stocks followed the same market trend. Dominion Breweries, up another 2d to a new three-year peak of 19s, and Crothalls, 6d higher at 21s 3d, both continued advancing. Colonial Motors added 2s 6d to 665. Overseas fluctuations were narrow, but Hooker moved up 3d to 4s.
