GOLDEN RULE
Sydney Entry For Forbury
Golden Rule, which was purchased last June by Mr and Mrs A. H. Jones, of Sydney, could be one of the representatives of New South Wales at the Inter-Dominion Championship series at Forbury Park next February and March. Golden Rule has shown pleasing form in Sydney this season and her connexions are hopeful that she will train on well enough to justify the trip. It is felt that if she races well enough in her next few starts she will qualify for a special subsidy to be paid by the New South Wales Trotting Club. In the meantime Golden Rule Is to be entered for the series with the Sydney authorities. Entries for the series close tomorrow. Mr Jones was in Christchurch late last week with his trainer, K. Robinson. They paid a big price for the 1963 New Zealand Sapling Stakes winner, Wildwood Chief.
