Property Sold For £14,200
A property at 836 Colombo street was sold for £14.200 at public auction yesterday. Zoned commercial B, the property is owned by C. McLachlan and Sons. Ltd. It was offered by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman.
The initial bid was £12,000. There were four bids of £5OO, and two of £lOO.
Buildings on the section of 40.1 perches, which has frontages to Colombo street and Salisbury street, include a shop, concrete factory, sheds, timber racks, and an early-type bungalow.
