GUNSHOT WOUNDS
Man, Niece Badly Hurt
(N.Z. Press Association' WELLINGTON, Nov. 18. A man and his niece are in Hutt Hospital in a serious condition from gunshot wounds. They are Roy Benjamin Hammington, aged 52, of Lower Hutt, and Miss Judith Margaret Rogan, aged about 18, of Napier. They were found by police early tonight in the garage of Mr Hammington's Tui street property. A double-barrelled shotgun was found near the man. Mr Hammington was wounded in the stomach, and Miss Rogan in an arm and a leg. Police believe three j cartridges were fired.
