Queen Elizabeth Park
Sir, —So the City Council are at it again. This time the master-minds have thought up massive schemes for Queen Elizabeth Park. The pity is that we have heard it all so often before with the town hall, English Park, Hagley Park road, and the Estuary, but, after years of chatter, no action whatsoever. Let the citizens of Christchurch shake off their complac< ncy at local election time throw out these dodder-heads and put people into office who have some ideas on positive action and progress for our city.—Yours, etc. FED-UP RATEPAYER. November 18, 1964.
