NATURE WALKS
Plans At Mount Cook
Guided nature walks will again be held in the Mount Cook National Park during the coming holiday season. A half-day walk through Governor’s Bush, and a fullday walk up the Hooker Valley, will be held on alternate fine days for a fortnight from December 28 and on any day after that when the demand justifies it. On each day during the fortnight, and on any other day that a party is taken on one of the walks, a nature slide evening will be held in the park headquarters. The parties will normally be guided by a trainee park ranger, Mr A. Buchanan, or a casual summer ranger, Mr J. Wilson.
