(From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, Nov. 18. The average per lb for wool sold at the second sale of the 1964-65 wool season was 49.86 d, the average a bale was £65 8s 6d and proceeds were £1,350,032 Ils 7d, according to figures given by the South Canterbury Woolbrokers’ Association today. Other details:— Greasy wool: Bales ofered 21,395, bales sold 20,785; net weight, 6,545,9261 b. Scoured wool: Bales offered 519, bales sold 357. Net weight in lbs, 90,305; proceeds, £24,196 19s 2d; average per bale, £67 15s 7d; average per lb, 64.31 d.
