Anzac Sunday
The New Plymouth Chamber of Commerce thinks Anzac commemoration services should be held on the last Sunday in April, the day to be known as Anzac Sunday. The Associated Chambers have sought opinions on the subject. “Anzac Day is a joke now,” said Mr J. S. Crighton. “I don’t know why they still call it Anzac Day—it is a remembrance day of any war.”
