SAIGON, Nov. 7. .iouth Vietnamese Air Force fighter bombers yesterday launched mass raids with 5001 b bombs, rockets and napalm against a Communist guuerrilla base 12 miles north-east of Bien Hoa. The raids were in retaliation for last Sunday’s mortar attack by Viet Cong forces on Bien Hoa air base, in which Americans were killed or wounded and aircraft destroyed.
