Bigger Percentage In Plunket Care

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 5. For the first time the percentage of New Zealand babies under Plunket Society care had risen last year to over 90, the society’s director of nursing services. Miss J. G. Mackay, told the Dominion conference this morning. There were 900 fewer European babies born last year than in the previous year, but only 200 fewer were taken to Plunket nurses for supervision. This worked out at 90.56 per cent.
