SAVINGS BANK SCHOLARSHIP
Southland Awards At Lincoln
The Southland Savings Bank has decided to sponsor a scholarship at Lincoln College by perpetual endowment An inaugural grant of £2OOO has been received.
The Southland Savings Bank scholarship, worth up to £lOO a year, will assist young persons from Southland to advance their education in agriculture at Lincoln College. Each scholarship will be tenable for up to two years by students taking the diploma or degree courses in agriculture. Preference will be given to candidates who intend to take up a career which will benefit the province of Southland. The selection committee will include appointees of the bank and of Federated Farmers in Southland, as well as the principal of Lincoln College.
