Confident Of Snell’s Ability
(Special Cripdt. N.Z.P.A.I LONDON, November 1. j A 3min 50sec mile is within P. G. Snell's capabilities now, Dr. Roger Bannister, the first man to run the mile in under four minutes, told the N.Z.P.A. “I thought Snell emerged from the recent Olympic Games as the athlete who was incomparably superior tt> his rivals." said Dr. Bannister.
“I feel a 3.50 mile is within his capabilities now and 4 send him my very bes wishes in any attempt he makes."
