AWARDS FOR GRADUATES
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, November 2. Details of thousands of post-graduate awards tenable during the next two years in British universities are contained in a booklet published by the Association of Commonwealth Universities. Awards are offered in a unde range of subjects, from research into cider and fruit juices, “some aspect of the pig,” and domestic food preservation, to Gaelic music, the history of the guilds and livery companies of London, and the problems of transport. Awards are available to British, Commonwealth, and foreign students. The only general specification is that the candidate should preferably hold a firstclass or higher first degree.
