GRADUATES PRAISED

AUCKLAND, Nov. 2. The quality of graduates from New Zealand universities was commended today by Viscount Watkinson, group manager of Schweppes (London), who arrived in Auckland yesterday. He said his company was quite satisfied with recruits being drafted into the management. There had been no need to send executives from London. He was pleased with the efficiency and success of his management. He thought New Zealand was a very important market, second only to the United States in the consumption of soft drnks. And there was a lot of growth ahead.
