Retaliation

Mr Michel MauriceBokanowskl, the French Minister of Industries, has given the first official hint that France may retaliate against Britain’s 15 per cent surcharge on imports. Speaking in the 1965 Budget debate in the National Assembly on Friday, he said that after the British decision “we will obviously be forced to defend our own industries.”
