NEW CARGO LINER
Launching On Wednesday

Another refrigerated cargo liner for the Shaw Savill line’s service to Australia and New Zealand will be launched on Wednesday in Glasgow.
She will be named Zealandic. The launching ceremony will be performed by Mrs W. R. Russell, wife of the general manager of the line. Zealandic (8000 tons), the 28th vessel built for the line since World War 11, will be the third Shaw Savill ship to bear this name. Her insulated cargo capacity will be approximately 370,000 cubic feet, including 30,000 cubic feet chilled meat capacity, and her general cargo space about 35,000 cubic feet.
