TOAGARIRO NEW TOWN
(NZ. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. October 29. Men have started moving : into the new single men's temporary camp at Turangt They are part of the work force which will build the new town connected with the Tongariro hydro-electric scheme. Since it opened this week, approximately 40 men have ■ moved into the camp. i There are six one-man huts on the site, with all facilities provided. The cookhouse and dining-rooms are operational and seat about 60 men at each meal. Contractors have started work on the first residential i area of the town as well as lon the industrial section.
