TRANSPORT BOARD
Member Seeks Change Mr H. E. Denton has given notice of motion to the Christchurch Transport Board seeking the disbanding of the committees set up at the first meeting of the new board. His notice seeks to revert to committees of the whole board to “bring the procedure into line with Government legislation allowing the reporting and public attendance at committee meetings.” The notice will be debated at the next board meeting.
