Carbon Monoxide Tests Planned
Tffie Christchurch Metropolitan Road Safety Committee is planning to conduct tests for the carbon monoxide content of vehicles, possibly at the end of next month. Motorists willing to take part in the tests, which will be completed in only a few minutes, will leave their vehicles idling with the windows closed. A capsule is placed inside the car and a change of colour reveals the presence of carbon monoxide.
